JupyterHub.nrw for universities in NRW: onboarding required before use
JupyterHub.nrw is available to universities in North Rhine-Westphalia that would like to join the service.
Following our recent post, we would like to clarify an important point regarding access to JupyterHub.nrw.
JupyterHub.nrw is open to universities in NRW, meaning institutions can now apply to join the service. However, use by students, teaching staff, researchers, and other employees is only possible after the respective university has completed the onboarding process.
Each university receives its own JupyterHub.nrw instance. Members of a university can therefore use the service only after their institution has been connected and activated.
Currently, instances are already available for the following universities:
- TU Dortmund
- Ruhr University Bochum
- Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg
- University of Münster
If your university has not yet completed onboarding, you may be able to log in via your home institution at one of the aforementioned university instances, but you will not have access to any resources yet.
How to join and use JupyterHub.nrw¶
The following steps are required to join and use JupyterHub.nrw:
- Your university contacts the JupyterHub.nrw team to request joining the project.
- The onboarding process for your university is carried out by our team.
- A dedicated JupyterHub.nrw instance is set up for your university.
- After activation, members of your university can log in and use the service.
